Argo," directed, produced and starring Ben Affleck, won the Oscar for Best Picture at the 85th Academy Awards in Hollywood.
The drama about the 1980 rescue of six U.S. diplomats from Tehran during the Iranian hostage crisis also won for Best Film Editing and Best Adapted Screenplay.
Affleck, who served as director and a co-producer with George Clooney, dedicated the award to his wife, actress Jennifer Garner.
The actor said he did not know what he was doing when he won an Oscar 15 years ago as a screenwriter for "Good Will Hunting." EFE
