Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama may just be giving love another chance.

The good friends and past lovers were spotted together on Valentine’s Day at an L.A. restaurant in what a source told US Weekly magazine was an encounter with lots of “cuddling “and “making out.”

"They ordered almost everything on the menu, but they didn't touch it for at least an hour," an insider said.

The source said the two stared at each other the whole time and seemed engrossed in a “really intense conversation.”

Lovato and Valderrama have had an on-again-off-again romance since 2010 but have remained good friends.

The “Give Your Heart a Break” singer and Venezuelan actor partnered up prior to elections last year to film a public service announcement for Voto Latino, an organization dedicated to getting youth and the Latino community involved in politics.

Valderrama told Fox News Latino in August that he was keeping his options open.

“I’m a free man,” Valderrama said. “I’m single. I’m not looking but I'm not closed to the possibility of finding someone special. It will be welcomed.”

As for Lovato, she recently told the U.K.'s Cosmo on Campus that she is in a very good place emotionally.

"I'm in a place where I can finally trust and love and be a better person for the man I am in a relationship with, instead of being a clingy girlfriend or getting jealous," she told the publication. "It is very unhealthy when girls devote all of their time to a guy and forget their friends and family. I did that. I was always looking for distractions because I was so afraid of being alone."
