“Modern Family” is getting some more Latino love on set.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that there will be two new additions to the Emmy-winning-series as Elizabeth Peña and Stephanie Beatriz join the cast.

Peña, (La Bamba, Rush Hour) will be playing the mother of Sofia Vergara's character Gloria, while Beatriz (The Closer) will star as Gloria’s sisters Sonia.

“There’s a bit of a competitive relationship between Gloria and her sister that will be fun,” the show's executive producer Christopher Lloyd, told EW.

“The mother is the formidable, domineering character in the family, and has a complicated relationship with Jay (Ed O’Neill),” Lloyd added. “I’m not sure she’s ever completely accepted Jay, and they lock horns in the episode.”

Peña and Beatriz will debut during the 12th episode of this season titled “Fulgencio.”  Filming for it begins on Monday.

EW also reports that other celebrities are set to make appearances on the show, including Matthew Broderick, Jason Mantzoukas, and Shelley Long.

The new additions to the sitcom come just days after Vergara appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show.

Degeneres dressed up as Vergara on her show and looked exactly like the “Modern Family” actress did at the Emmys―wardrobe malfunction and all.

The costume included Vergara’s ample chest and rear end along with her long locks.

Back in September during the 64th annual Emmy awards, Vergara was the first to poke fun at herself, unbeknownst to the viewers, right before going on stage to accept the award for best comedy series with her “Modern Family” cast mates, about her serious wardrobe malfunction.

While Vergara stunned in a sequined form fitting mermaid gown, apparently her curvaceous bottom was too much for haute couture.
