Premios Juventud honors the top favorites in five areas - music, movies, telenovelas, sports and pop culture.

The selection of finalists and winners is based on votes cast by fans on PremiosJuventud.com.

The event was hosted by actress Ana Brenda Contreras and Univision fashion expert Rodner Figueroa, among others, while the nominees were announced by telenovela stars Blanca Soto and Aaron Diaz and singers Royce, Enrique Bunbury and Gerardo Ortiz.

Among the finalists competing in multiple Premio Juventud categories are rapper Pitbull and Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona, each up for seven awards.

Univision will air the Premios Juventud awards ceremony live from Miami on July 19.
