Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez will take part in the colorful samba school parades at the massive Sambadrome in Rio de Janeiro as the guest of a Brazilian beer company.

Lopez will be attending her first Rio Carnival as the headliner of a group of celebrities, including Brazilian and foreign stars, invited by brewer Brahma on two of the parade nights.

The 13 top samba schools will parade at the Sambadrome on Feb. 19 and 20.

JLO will also be the star of a Carnival-themed advertising campaign that Brahma will start airing this week.

The brewer did not say how much Lopez was being paid to appear at the Carnival, but the Brazilian press reported the actress could get up to $2 million.
