This week on 'Being Latino' on Facebook we talked about kids taking care of kids, older women/younger men relationships, and our favorite social media platform: Facebook.

Facebook is the Internet’s most successful social media platform. It  allows family, friends, and strangers alike to share information they often wouldn’t share in person.

We count on it to be our private parlor where we can say what’s on our mind around the people we’ve chosen to allow in our inner circle. But now those outside our circle can listen in with Facebook’s new subscribe feature.

Now we have to be more careful who we allow to read our posts.  If you want to post about your job or your boss, you can do so without fear of being fired . But just because you can't be fired doesn’t mean that what you say can’t have a negative impact on your career.

Many things can have a negative impact in the workplace; apparently, even taking a bag of chips from your job during a diabetic attack without paying for them first.

Being Latino is a communication platform whose mission is to educate and connect all peoples across the global Latino spectrum. Being Latino is the largest fan page for Latinos on Facebook.
